Shaun Torrente, a driver for Team Abu Dhabi, is prepared to compete in the UIM F1H2O World Championship in China with the goal of regaining his world championship. Torrente is determined to put his Indonesian first-round failure behind him after winning the China Grand Prix twice, in 2018 and 2019. Although Torrente won the water-based race, he was fined for a jump start, which gave the victory to Polish driver Bartek Marszalek.

One race at a time, Torrente intends to climb back to the top of the standings. Rashed Al Qemzi, a three-time UIM F2 champion, and the rest of his crew will be prepared for the China Grand Prix, he is sure. Al Qemzi replaces his cousin Thani Al Qemzi, who is unable to participate in the race.

Al Qemzi, a naturally confident competitor, has the skill and speed to win the race, according to Torrente, providing he gains the necessary experience. Al Qemzi’s weight and driving style are being taken into account as the squad works to complete all the laps.

Bartek Marszalek of Stromoy Racing now holds the lead in the UIM F1H2O World Championship with 20 points. Sami Selio of Sharjah Team is in second place with 15 points, followed by Erik Stark of Victory Team with 12 points. With drivers competing for first place and the possibility to win the championship, the China Grand Prix looks to be an intriguing event.
