It is recommended that drivers drive carefully and adhere to all traffic laws.
On Tuesday, the authorities of Abu Dhabi declared that a major route in the emirate will be blocked for a period of two weeks.
According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), drivers won’t be able to access the right lane of the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Int’l Road (E11) in Al Dhafra from December 6 (12 a.m.) until December 30 (5 a.m.).
Users of the road are asked to drive carefully and to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. The ITC added that the lane leading to Abu Dhabi will be impacted by the closure. Check out the map below:
Additionally, Sheikha Salama Bint Butti Road (E45) in the Madinat Zayed-Al Dhafra Region will be partially closed from Tuesday, December 5 (10 p.m.) until Friday, December 8 (5 a.m.) according to the ITC. For the next three days, the left lane heading towards Madinat Zayed will be blocked.
