UAE bans travel to Lebanon for citizens due to current tensions

Using Twitter, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it “stresses the importance of adhering to the previously issued decision to prohibit UAE citizens from travelling to Lebanon.”

A phone number for emergencies was also provided by the administration: 0097180024.

A message posted late Friday on X, formerly known as Twitter, stated that the Saudi embassy in Lebanon had earlier issued a warning to its citizens to leave Lebanese territory as soon as possible and to avoid accessing areas where there have been armed conflicts.

The kingdom did not advise its subjects to stay away from any particular regions of Lebanon.

According to the statement, the embassy stressed “the importance of adhering to the Saudi travel ban to Lebanon.”

Kuwait advised Kuwaitis living in Lebanon to exercise caution and stay away from “areas of security disturbances,” but it did not warn them to flee the nation, according to a statement published on X early on Saturday.
